Make up look from first scene of the video…
You will need:
- Soft black kohl pencil
- Dark blue irridescent pigment (Illamasqua)
- Dark blue black eyeshadow with sparkles
- Nude lip gloss
- Tape
- Medium brown eye shadows for contouring – (Ben Nye contouring product and MAC Copperplate eyeshadow)
Directions:
- Use black pencil to draw black outline all round eye area – from the inner corner, up across the brow bone in a rounded shape, out past the outer edge of the eye, and then back underneath the lower lash line, then loosely fill in and smudge. Notice this is a rounded eye shape.
- Apply blue pigment over inner half of top eyelid (apply right over the black.)
- Apply dark black/blue sparkle shadow to the outside third of the eye (again, on top of the black.)
- Soften the edges of the black liner – don’t draw the color out, but rather soften the line. Do the same to the bottom lash line.
- Line the lower waterline with black pencil eyeliner.
- Apply nude lip gloss.
How to Mimic the Lady Gaga Horns Look with Make up (instead of prosthetics)
- Apply clear tape to the face in a diagonal line right underneath the eye.
- Use an angled brush to apply a contour shade (cool brown tone) to your high cheekbones and outer edge of the face. Apply the contour shade so it is darkest at the top and outer edges.
- Apply tape to the forehead in a W shape and contour the around the edges much in the same way.
- Apply white powder eyeshadow or matte highlighter to the areas that were covered with tape, plus some below the middle forehead contouring.
- The video doe snot mention this but I would go back and blend all lines again for a slightly less angular look.
